Advanced WorldCat Resource Sharing

This demonstration will introduce the advanced features of WorldCat Resource Sharing with particular attention to ILL Direct Request and Local Holdings Editing. Discussions, tips, and tricks will also be held on Interlibrary Loan Fee Management (IFM), Constant Data, Custom Holdings, the ILL Policy Directory, and WorldCat Resource Sharing Auto-Deflection.

Prerequisites
To participate you will need your library's OCLC authorization and password for FirstSearch administration, and an Internet-accessible computer using at least Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox 1.5x, a headset with a microphone (for voice interaction), and computer speakers, or headphones (chat interaction available).

This workshop is free if you are an IOUG (Illinois OCLC Users’ Group) member. Memberships are annual: $15.00 for individuals and $40.00 for institutions. Join at http:www.ioug.info/membership.html.
