Participants will learn how to conduct basic and advanced searches and how to customize the interface for patrons and staff.

To participate you will need to have your library's OCLC authorization and password for FirstSearch Administration, an Internet-accessible computer using at least Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox 1.5x, a headset with a microphone (for voice interaction), and computer speakers, or headphones (chat interaction available).

This workshop is free if you are an IOUG (Illinois OCLC Users’ Group) member. Memberships are annual: $15.00 for individuals and $40.00 for institutions. Join at http:www.ioug.info/membership.html.
