Ask Away Virtual Reference Training via Wimba

This three hour training session, via Wimba, will instruct the participating librarians how to conduct e-mail, chat and the Administration portion of the virtual reference program using OCLC's QuestionPoint 24/7. At the conclusion of this session, participants will receive their authorization/password and have the skills ready to start the service in their own library.

Prerequisites
In order to use Wimba, you will need to meet the following minimum system requirements:
-Windows 2000, XP or Vista, Mac OS 10.2+ or Linux
56k or higher Internet connection
-Internet Explorer 5.0+, Firefox 1+, Netscape 7.0+, Safari 1.1+
-128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
-Sound card
-Headset with integrated microphone OR headphones with separate microphone OR speakers
-Up to date version of Java Runtime
