This program requires a MINIMUM of 5 participants.This hands-on workshop will focus on advanced FirstSearch WorldCat Resource Sharing (WRS) for experienced ILL staff interested in implementing the advanced functionality of WRS. Kate Boyle, Interlibrary Loan Manager for the Metropolitan Library System, will lead participants in how to create multiple constant data files and custom holdings groups and paths. She will also illustrate how to customize the user interface and implement ILL Direct Request using the FirstSearch Administrative module. An overview of the OCLC ILL Policies Directory will be included. At the end of this workshop participants will be able to:• Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of WorldCat Resource Sharing• Create multiple constant data files• Customize the user interfaceNote: Please bring your OCLC and FirstSearch authorization and password with you to class in order to customize the interface and make setting changes during training.Intended Audience:This class is designed for the intermediate to advanced learner.
