  • If you are interested in attending, please email Joe Popowitch at joep@ippl.info.

Presenter Maria del Carmen Rodriguez, Community Relations Officer, will conduct an overview on the process of adjusting to lawful permanent residency (LPR) or obtaining a green card. Officer Rodriguez will discuss the entry process into the U.S., visa preference categories, the Visa Bulletin, and eligibility requirements for those seeking LPR status. The discussion will include a description of the many types of visas that are available—non-immigrant and immigrant and the types of LPR adjustments—family and employment-based.

There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the presentation.

Informational materials will be forwarded to librarians before the presentation is conducted.

If you have questions ahead of the presentation, please forward them to my attention at Maria.D.Rodriguez@uscis.dhs.gov so I may cover them in my presentation.
