Facts Tell, Stories Sell: A Two-Week Marketing Masterclass is a two-week online course that will run February 17 to February 28, 2020.

The online course is self-paced using Google Classroom. Register through L2 and login information for Google Classroom will be provided a few days before the course begins.


Do you dread coming up with content for your library's marketing plan? This two-week masterclass will help you craft a six-month marketing strategy to showcase your library's services and resources and develop community connections with ease.

In two weeks we will cover:
-Content Creation Prompts, Formula, and Generator
-Graphic Design Tips and Tricks
-Crafting Content Categories and a Calendar
-Press + publicity templates and strategies

Desired Outcomes:
At the end of the two-week course, participants will have:
-six months of marketing content
-a storybank for ongoing marketing ideas and publications
-social media posts that engage the community and encourage participation
-press and publicity templates

Presenter: Barbara Alvarez has partnered with businesses, organizations, and libraries to share digital stories and develop community connections.

Participant Expectations:This two-week online course includes readings, suggested assignments and activities, as well as two video recordings by the presenter. It is estimated that you will spend about 5 hours each week participating and completing the work for a total of 10 hours.
