Music in Storytime Workshop

Where:   Palatine Public Library (In Person)

Singer/songwriter Jon Lewis, of Mr. Jon and Friends, drawing on his over 10 years of experience working in libraries, songwriting, and performing, will share best practices for including music in storytimes. Using a mix of PowerPoint, video clips, live music and more, Mr. Jon will have attendees up singing and dancing as well as discussing storytime tips and tricks. Covering everything from why music in storytimes to selecting music to connecting with the crowd, attendees will leave energized and excited for their next storytime adventure. This workshop is financed by a RAILS Continuing Education Grant.

Notes
Free parking is available in the underground parking garage or the lots located on the East and West sides of the building. Do not park in the lot directly across the street from the main entrance to the South or you may be towed.
