Has your library considered creating programming for your community to advance conversations about equity and inclusion? Are there conversations about privilege and power that need to happen among library staff? Are you concerned that you don’t have the skills or tools you need to develop this programming or lead these dialogues? If you answered yes to these questions, we encourage you to join us for a one-day facilitation workshop focused on reflective dialogue and building the skills and resources you need to lead effective conversations about equity, diversity, and inclusion. This full-day workshop, led by the Covey Group, will provide concrete strategies and hands-on practice in planning and leading a discussion. Participants should be prepared to do some reading which will be provided in advance of the workshop. Please also expect to actively participate and interact with the facilitators and each other. You will take home resources in order to continue building knowledge on topics related to equity and inclusion.
