Event Detail

Assessing Organizational Challenges

When:
Friday, June 14, 2019 (9:30 AM - 12:00 PM) Export to vCalendar
Where:   Northwestern University (In Person)

Libraries are complex organizations with complex challenges. Our work requires balancing our stakeholders’ competing demands for collections, services, and spaces, often while experiencing budget cuts or other financial challenges. As a result, challenges within our organizations often take a backseat to those affecting our patrons. Come learn how your colleagues have used assessment, user experience, or design thinking methods to address organizational challenges in their workplaces. Then, we'll make space for small group conversations exploring ways of addressing these issues in our own organizations.
