Whether it's through circulating hot spots, streaming sticks, cameras, and other consumer technology, or through providing access to robust digital media labs, libraries have made a commitment in recent years to connect their communities to technology that might otherwise be inaccessible.

Do you feel like your library could better connect your patrons to consumer technology?
Join the LACONI Technology Section to discover how other libraries have made technology more accessible to their communities. Our panelists will share their experience in launching technology services at their libraries and will reflect on trends observed across U.S. libraries.

This workshop will feature a Q&A session with the panelists and will provide excellent opportunities for librarians to learn from their peers.

Panelists
Gregory Berger, Digital Services Supervisor—Arlington Heights Memorial Library
Ginny Mies, Selection Librarian for Access Services—San Mateo County Libraries
Sarah van der Heyden, Assistant Makery Manager—Elmhurst Public Library
