NWYS: Remodeling and Renovations

  • Meetings are open to all NWYS member libraries for a $25 annual fee. You also have the option of paying for each meeting individually, at the cost of $10 per attendee per meeting.

Could your library use a refresh? Planning a remodeling or construction project in the future, or just wishing you could? Hear from librarians, including Kathi Behrendt from Berwyn Public Library and Rachael Dabkey from La Grange Public Library, who have lived through or are in the middle of the process.
We will also watch and discuss the TED talk Michael Bierut: How to design a library that makes kids want to read.
