NASA Workshop--Survival on Mars: The Martian--5 Engineering Design Challenges

Learn to use the challenges of Space Exploration to help students improve collaborative skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies, and employ the process of science inquiry. Easily adapted for all grades, K – 8, and effective as stand-alone or units, activities include five hands-on challenges from the film, The Martian. NASA Education Professional Development Specialist, Susan Kohler will be facilitating the workshop.

The workshop is FREE. Box Lunches may be ordered upon registration or participants may bring a brown bag lunch. Beverages and snacks will be provided. A menu for the box lunches will be provided upon registration.
