This session will provide an overview of succession planning. The objective is that everyone will leave the training understanding why each library would benefit from formalizing their succession planning process. The presenter will provide tips on how to establish a succession plan without becoming overwhelmed. You can expect to receive basic tools to help launch your succession plan efforts. If there is something you would like to know about the process, or something specific you would like to address, please contact RAILS at email@example.com. Our presenter welcomes any questions and even concerns you might have about this topic. Presenter:John Newton, from John Newton and Associates, will facilitate the Succession Planning program. John has worked with RAILS previously through DePaul University. John is a Human Resources consultant, who focuses on supporting organizations’ people development needs. As we all know, we are only as strong as our people.
