This class focuses on the changes of RDA when descriptive cataloging sound recordings and videos.

Topics covered include:
--Structure of Resource Description and Access (RDA)
--Title and statement of responsibility
--Publication and physical description
--Notes
--Access points for creators and contributors

Lunch is not included but time will be allotted for a lunch break. Attendees are allowed to bring lunch or leave for a quick lunch.

This training is provided through the Cataloging Maintenance Center Grant, funded by the Illinois State Library.







Prerequisites
Attendees should be able to read and interpret a MARC record and have cataloged sound recordings and videos using AACR2.
