The discussion will center around programs that have addressed specific community needs, remarkable program partnerships, and programs that have directly addressed underserved populations. Please come prepared to talk about how your library is engaging its community through programming. Michelle Krooswyk, Director of the New Lenox Public Library, will start us off by talking about their community engagement initiatives, including details on how they engage their local business community through the library’s Digital Media Lab, and their partnership with elementary schools on a collaborative summer reading program.
