Gale Career Online High School Lunch and Learn

RAILS and Gale are hosting a Lunch & Learn on Friday, February 16th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. You’ll hear from two RAILS libraries currently offering Career Online High School, in addition to learning about program essentials, resources to support student recruitment, and tools for managing the program from scholarship award and student enrollment, to graduation. Dana Wishnick, Director, Chicago Ridge Public Library and Frank Murray, Head of Reference/Electronic Services, Brookfield Public Library will speak about the program at their libraries, why they chose it, what it has meant in their communities, to their students, and to them personally. Lunch will be provided. Fifteen RAILS libraries currently offer adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate at their libraries through Career Online High School.
