KALA Monthly Meeting

Craighton Hippenhammer, Digital Initiatives Librarian at Olivet Nazarene University, will be speaking about topics of interest to those who attend the meeting. Topics include:
• Digitization projects in library settings—how to get started.
• Open access publishing movement
• Genealogy research
• Olivet’s digitized collection of 101 yearbooks,
• The upcoming stakeholders meeting that the State Library and the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) are putting together on November 13 at the Newberry Library. Libraries with archives and local history collections are invited to attend on Nov 13.
