Please join us on Thursday, June 12 from 9:30-Noon for Targeted Collection Development: Using Data to Create a Collection Development Plan presented by staff from the LaGrange Public Library.

Staff from the La Grange Public Library will talk about the collection development plan they
created in 2012: why they decided to write it, how they tackled the project, what statistics they gathered, and how it all got compiled. They will talk about how it has been utilized since it was adopted and what they plan to do in the future. Presenters will discuss how creating a collection plan fits in with the library’s collection development policy and helps to fulfill the “Collection Management and Resource Sharing” requirement for this year’s Per Capita Grant.

We hope to see you there!
