A quarterly update session designed to brief RAILS member libraries on the latest RAILS news and to discuss a specific issue of interest to RAILS members in-depth. The videoconference will originate from the Sycamore Public Library and RAILS Executive Director Dee Brennan will attend at this location. After a brief update on the latest RAILS news, there will be a discussion of the different models and approaches being used by e-book consortia throughout the country, including the demand-driven acquisitions and self-hosted models.
