Limits on reciprocal borrowers:
Any patron in good standing who has a valid library account with a public library in Illinois or Wisconsin may use reciprocal borrowing privileges at Round Lake Area Public Library. Registered reciprocal borrowers are entitled to check out any on-shelf materials in the library except for e-books, e-audiobooks, and any items in the “Hot” browsing collection. Reciprocal borrowers are subject to the same circulation limits, loan periods, and fines as local patrons, and will be personally financially responsible for all fines or fees resulting from overdue, lost or damaged materials. Reciprocal borrowers cannot place holds on items or use interlibrary loan at Round Lake Library; neither can they use our library as a pick up point for holds that were placed through other libraries’ catalogs. Blocks on privileges by a user’s home library, even those at the request of a third library, will be honored.
