Are you a soon to be or recent library graduate working in an MLS library? Interested in connecting with other new librarians? This group is for you.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Librarians having graduated with a Masters in Library Science degree within 4 years and/or currently working in library. Open to current library school & LTA students, and individuals from non-MLS libraries.

MEETING AGENDA: Surviving Your First Years as a School Media Specialist. New to the profession, or just to the school, come and learn what it takes to survive your first year. Urban and suburban issues will be covered along with helpful hints on your professional development, library finance, assistants, and how to run your library.
