Intermediate to advanced catalogers will learn how to assign appropriate subject headings to materials in all formats. Participants will learn how to search and interpret Library of Congress (LC) subject headings, including "see" and "see also" references. Geographic subject headings and assigning geographic subdivisions will also be covered.

This class is required for all GateNet catalogers.
