The purpose of this conference is to equip and enlighten front line staff persons with training, exposure and techniques that will enable them to deal effectively and efficiently with their day-to-day activities as front line employees. Conference sessions will focus on topics of interest to all types of libraries. This conference will feature a number of topics relevant to issues facing front line staff. In addition, attendees are invited to an evening reception, Monday, March 16, 2009, held at the Illinois State Library sponsored by the IOUG offering heavy hors d'oeuvres and a chance to continue informal discussions. To allow conference attendees the opportunity to network with vendors and see new products, a Vendor Fair will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 concurrent with programs.
