Flash Mentoring: Connecting New Library Staff and Seasoned Professionals with only a 2 Hour Commitment

Are you a new librarian in the profession looking for a Mentor, but don't have any extra time to commit? Are you a seasoned librarian who would like to share your knowledge and experience with an up and coming library professional, but don't feel you can commit to an ongoing mentoring program?

MLS's Flash Mentoring Program returns, this time to its Chicago office. MLS will pair up to 9 mentees and mentors for a 2 hour Flash Mentoring event on Friday, May 15, 2009.

This opportunity is for MLS members only, but all library staff are encouraged to apply.

To participate, Mentees & Mentors must:

*Be available on the date of the event.
*Complete a short survey after registering in order to match you.

The event will include an opportunity to meet all participants, learn key tips for mentoring, and provide ample time for Mentees and Mentors to connect.

REGISTER BY: April 15,2009.
