This workshop will introduce you to the integrated library system, SirsiDynix Symphony WorkFlows, used by Resource Sharing Alliance members to catalog their materials to make them visible to patrons in the RSAcat. This workshop will discuss cataloging parameters, show you how to adjust WorkFlows cataloging settings, and provide hands-on practice cataloging items using the WorkFlows software. A tour of the RSA web page will conclude the training. Full and basic online members of the Resource Sharing Alliance may register for this workshop. Please note that this workshop will not include the following:- discussion of the RSA cataloging transition- creation of individual WorkFlows cataloging accounts for registrants who do not already use them- instruction on original catalogingThe workshop is limited to 8 participants. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please cancel your registration in L2 if you are unable to attend. Everyone who wishes to attend must register with his or her own L2 account.For school library staff, RSA is unfortunately unable to offer professional development hours (PDHs) for your attendance at this workshop. When the Illinois State Board of Education tightened its requirements for professional development providers several years ago, RSA no longer qualified as an authorized PDH provider.You will receive an email from the instructor a few days before the workshop. The email will contain a checklist to help you prepare for the workshop.
