Whether you are considering starting a digitization project or have already begun, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the foundations of the digitization process in this series of two-part workshops. Consultants from LYRASIS will spend the first half of the workshop presenting the basics of digitization and laying a foundation for the process. During the second-half of the workshop. LYRASIS staff will conduct a hands-on review of the host library’s historical collection, evaluating the collection’s historical value and determining its suitability for a digitization project. This collection review will give participants an idea of which of their own library’s material might be viable for digitization.
