The Edge is a management and leadership tool that will help public libraries assess their current technology services and make improvements that will better serve their communities. This exciting initiative will launch in 2014 and there will be other opportunities for public libraries to receive training on the Edge. This specific webinar is only for those Peer Comparison libraries that have received direct communication from the Illinois State Library.Staff from the Edge Project along with Illinois State Library and Library System staff will be present on the webinar to answer questions and get you started.This workshop will be held via ADOBE CONNECT PRO INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADOBE CONNECT PROWhat do I need?-To be connected to the Internet -To have an Internet browser -To have speakers turned on or headphones to listen to the audio presentation -To be ready for this online session, please connect at least ten minutes in advance of the scheduled session.What do I do?1) Click on or copy and paste the following URL http://webjunctionillinois.adobeconnect.com/r4cdkt7a8zy2) Using the mouse, select “Enter as a Guest” 3) In the User Name box, type in your name (first name and your agency name)4) Click on “Enter Room”5) If needed, you will be prompted to download the software in order to connect to Adobe Connect Pro.
