She is an experienced teacher and library media specialist and has received national awards for her creative teaching ideas.One of the foremost experts in North America on children's literature and literature programs, she is a consultant for the Bureau of Education and Research and hundreds of school districts. She has conducted thousands of fast-paced practical workshops for Phi Delta Kappa, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, National Staff Development, International Reading Association and other groups and organizations.

Registration fee covers the cost of a basic box lunch. After registering, a screen will appear that can be printed out and sent with your registration fee. On the day of the workshop, registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., at which time you will receive your informational packet. Dr. Sharp's presentation will begin at 9:00 a.m.
