What is Common Core? What do I need to know about it? How can my library support students and teachers? Principle Wesley Gosselink and Elementary Reading Coach Elizabeth Hoff of Tate Woods Elementary from Lisle District 202 will answer these questions in the morning portion of the program. In the afternoon Kathleen Baxter will present Get Real: Getting Kids Excited About Nonfiction. Participants will be motivated and energized as they acquire a
practical repertoire of dozens of booktalks and books that appeal to kids in this laughter-filled, fast-moving presentation.
