Sr. Mary Paynter, OP, will present "Educational Essentials on the American Frontier," a look back at Father Samuel Mazzuchelli's forward-thinking educational ideas and ideals. Founder of the Sinsinawa Dominicans, Father Mazzuchelli also created schools for Native Americans urging use of their own languages while employing native women as directors and encouraging young women to use the latest scientific equipment.

Join us for this free, annual lecture followed by a reception. The session is open to the public but registration is required. The program will be held in the Martin Recital Hall at Dominican University.
