Crisis information expert Christine Hagar, PhD, will share ways public library staff can support their communities in times of disaster by reaching out to disaster-response organizations already in your community before disaster strikes. Participants will discuss information needs during a disaster and explore what types of support, both technological and non-technological, are needed in a crisis.

Three CPDU's are available for this workshop. The workshop will be held at Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin. Cost is $75.
