Join us to experience hands-on ideas for youth library technology programming. We'll be learning about iPad storytimes. Cen Campbell of Little eLit will join us via Skype to give a talk and answer questions. Plus you'll get to try out presenting recommended apps on wall projected iPads. We'll also have a visit from Andrew Morris of Workshop 88, a hackerspace in Glen Ellyn. He'll talk about Arduino, an inexpensive microcontroller designed for use in many kinds of electronic projects. Not sure what that means? Come find out!

Tinker is a networking group for library staff who work–or want to work–with children, teens, and technology. We share programming ideas and provide opportunities to work hands-on with technology.

Summer Bonus: Come for Tinker, stay to see Skokie Public Library’s exhibit of Caldecott Medal and Honor artwork commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Caldecott Medal!
