This two day class will present comprehensive training and information so you can add your library’s items to Horizon and go confidently into the Barcoder Performance Evaluation. You will learn how to search, match and attach records in the LLSAP database. There will be hands-on practicing of the skills needed and examples of what the evaluation will emphasize.

Prerequisites Introduction to Cataloging for Non-Catalogers. This is found on WebJunction Illinois and is free if you are logged into WebJunction and affiliated with Illinois through RPLS. Please fax, mail or bring the completion certificate with you to the class.Read LLSAP Database Standards manual. Your library should have a copy of this. Notes When you register you are automatically registered for both Parts I & II. Please make sure to put both dates on your calendar and plan to attend both dates. In order to complete the prerequisites, you will need to allow several days for setting up a WebJunction IL account, if you do not already have one.
